When the Quadro FX 4000 was born ,I bet that lots of CGer and Modder had start searching for the way to mod the GeforceFX6800 to QuadroFX4000. But, nobody succeed yet . About a week before , I found the Dell FX4000 bios file from Mvktech.net ,I download it and analyse it,I was sure this bios will work fine on the 6800GT/U. So I made my decision , to buy a 6800GT (6800Ultra is too much expensive to me) for modding to FX4000.

As some people knows, I got a 5900XT with the genuine NV35GL core ,it can easil be softmod to a QuadroFX3000 or QuadroFX700 ,with fully acceleration in pro OpenGL application , just as the real one did. I was luky.

And this time , I am lucky again !

As you know , the v15.2 RivaTuner can easily detect the hardwired ID of the 5700/5900/6800 ,which associated with some resistors on PCB. I said I was lucky , because I had check them out .


OK ,guys ,here we go !

This is Leatek QuadroFX4000, base on P201 PCB , as same as 6800GT, that's the reson I bought the 6800GT for hardmod .
